As I mentioned in a previous post, I see photographic images in my mind every single day- in the homeless man asking for money, in the sunset, in the cute pair of jeans I'm tempted to buy (just for that photograph), in a lovely gourmet meal, in the laughter of my children, in the person who does something kind for someone else when they think no one is looking. I see these images and then get a little upset that I don't have my camera with me that.very.second.

I already posted some pictures of my little pea in this dress, and I love those images. But these are the images I saw in my mind two years ago when I bought this dress. And now I share them with you. A photographic vision that came to fruition. May there be many more of these in my future!

Post Script: About two months ago, I got in line at the grocery. In front of me were three curly-headed, skinny, teenage triplet boys. While Elias was busy telling me how much he wanted to be a triplet, I was busy planning out my photoshoot with these kids. I could see the images in my mind, and I wanted to take those pictures. Bad. So bad, in fact, that I hurried and paid for my few items, raced out the door, and chased them down in the parking lot. I handed one of the boys my card and said, "You guys are FANTASTIC. And I promise I'm not crazy.... well, okay... I'm a little crazy. But I'm a photographer and I would love the chance to photograph you three sometime. Here's my card. Please call me if you're interested!" The boy seemed a bit flattered, which was flattering to me, of course, and he took my card. I've never heard from them. So....

Dear Triplet Boys that I met at Stater Brothers in January with long curly blond hair,
I desperately want to photograph you. Please call me. K, thanks.

Beautiful. I would print that top left one HUGE, well and the one where she is looking out onto the horizon, and, and, well I'd print all of them! You make stunning babies!
