I've been thinking a lot lately about this beautiful world and what a gift it is. I've thought myself "green" for a few years now, but I'm even more determined to be gentle and kind to the earth. I was going to make a list of the "green" things that we do as a family, but instead I'll send you over to my sweet friend Kristie's blog. She's doing a whole week-long series about how we can "do our part" to keep this earth healthy, and I was asked to contribute- so you can read my list there!
For now, a shot of my man-child on his way to school this morning....

One thing I didn't mention on Kristie's blog is that we're planting five fruit trees in our new backyard- a Pink Lady apple, a Key Lime, an Avocado, a Lemon, and a Seedless Tangerine. I'm so excited!! We already have six little apples on our apple tree, and lots of blossoms on the citrus trees!

And now a challenge to you: pick 5 things you can do, routinely, to be more green and earth-friendly! It's super easy- just takes some thought.
Happy Earth Day!
